Comments: I just wanted to say that I am deeply into the art or horror, expressing
the feelings of solitude, despair, yet beauty. I paint and draw, but I don't consider my
self an artist of art itself, but in presenting the imagination. Introducing new
atmospheres, new beings, new personalities. I don't talk too much, I had a gun pulled to
my face at age 10. I've been hearing this stuff, about H.R. Giger not getting credit 4 his
ideas, and quite frankly, I don't think that the film would of gotten' anywhere without
the alien design in the first place. I hope that 20th Century Fox reads this and lives
with shame, shame on u!, shame on uuuu!I'm an artist 2 Bi********tttcccchhhh. I'm sorry
for being so hateful, but money does'nt buy imagination. The part in Alien I appreciate
the most, was not just the carnivore alien, but the unexplored world, and the pilot
creature. That feeling of a truly foriegn world(the face of it gets forlorn in the
darkness, as Tom Skerit turns to the other dude and they find some strange new passage. I
had no idea who H.R. Giger was until alot later(I had already seen 2,3,&4) before I
saw a book on alien in a bookstore, nobody I've ever Known, not even my parents have ever
heard of this "not new artist". I am 16 and I'm starting to turn my life around.
I'm not a computer finatic I learned about this sight from H.G. Gigers' (alien on skis'
book). I just wanted to complain myself, am I going to have the same petty, but vital
problems as well. I will not mention any film titles I intend to put out, yet, but I might
want to contact, you, H.G.Giger on a possible but not definate(don't pass judgement)
"The Thing 2"Or another film about an Alien being that leaves it's home planet
in a binary star system, where a SuperNova collides into a hot blue star, and is picked up
by yet another foreign civilization, you might not find any thing in these ideas, but I'm
dead serious. I could keep insulting "being swatched by Fox", but I'm not going
to lower myself to thier know hows of building metal replicas of the Giger-Necronomicon
paintings, and I read all about the way they made that stuff. It was impressive but just a
transient echo of somebody elses painting. Any way,I hope you get things settled, be it
some statements of apology or some currency. If I make it as a movie director, the art
medium of 3D motions,I will scare and humor(even) if all goes well. The reason I keep
mentioning my own projects, is because I am dedicated to it, I have horrific dreams, I
feel this is my purpose in life,I've chilled with Gangstas,Ijust want to project my anger,
my pain, and my love to the sci-fi,ghost, that unknown horror from another dimension, and
my specialty: the zombie. Show people that Phantoms is'nt the last of the good horror
flix. I love your work H.R. Giger, I don't think you aim to scare. Alot of it does'nt
scare me,I think your bathtub photos are pretty freaKy though. Good luck, man. Keep it
real!

Comments: I find it very frustrating to find out that yet again HR Giger has been
neglected in the Alien films credits. This is an outrage that these derivitive hacks steal
his concepts and ideas, and then have the audacity to claim no affiliation. The whole
Alien genre in general is a result of Gigers inspiring portrayal of his bio-mechanoid
universe. I own most of Gigers books and find so many similarities with all of his
uncredited film Aliens. As a fellow artist an Giger devotee, I find it appaulling that Fox
has used his Beautiful Creation to their financial gains without paying proper respect to
the the "Godfather of Grim". HR Giger is the artist I most admire due to his
abstract artistic vision and his exact link to the macabre. He is the embodiment of the
unknown and has captured the essence of the face of fear. His morbid creations give a
voice to the screams of Hell and death everlasting.

by the fact that it is Giger's work that made the movie a big hit. Jezus, if he didn't

producers or directors, would even for a moment consider dissassociating an artist, any
artist, from their own art. I mean, if a person has the skill, talent, or in M. Giger's
case, the genius to create such beauty and horror, then they deserve full recognition for

Comments: Well, as for Alien Ressurection, it's the worst Alien movie I've ever
seen, and as far as I'm concerned the Alien saga ended with Aliens. I can understand why
he would be upset about not having his name in the credits considering the Alien is his
design, but I think he is too flattering in his first letter when he says that
Ressurection is a great film. I think that Ressurection and Alien 3 were both terrible,
and he shouldn't want to have such a burning desire to have his name posted on such a
piece of crap. If another Alien movie is made please get the story writer from Aliens to
write it, because everything afterwards put the entire focus on the Alien. Aliens had so
much more in it than just the Alien (like a good story and good character developement).
Suggestion, try looking at the Aliens comic books that came after Aliens, because they
have a very good story for what happened after the events in Aliens. But unfortunately,
somebody thought they could improve on that story and released Aliens 3 which was a
dissapointment in every way. Well I'll stop babbling now because I think I have gotten my
point across. As for Mr Giger, I think he should get the credit he deserve (ie. a place in
the credits), but he is not the visionary that people say he is. He designed an amazing
Alien and for that I am grateful, but we have to make sure that we don't disallusion
ourselves about who he is.

some tight buisness joe's who don't know their left from their right. Grow up FOX! (And
don't worry Giger, the world knows your work and loves you for it.)

Comments: The alien creature H. R. Giger created is the most spectacular monster in
movies ever; denying the credit from the person who designed the monster the whole movie
series is based on is incomprehensible, an unbelievable act of stupidity. Luckily most
civilized people know the truth, never mind the bollocks. Best wishes, Destino.

Comments: It is ridiculous for you not to get credit when most of the world knows
the truth of the origin of these lifeforms. But this does prove that there are many
lifeforms that have not progressed as far as they would like us to think. Good luck Brad

Comments: What Salvidor Dali did for our concept of timepieces, I believe Mr. Giger
did the same for our concept of alien creatures. He CHANGED it FOREVER. No smiling little
bug-eyed melvins showing up at Devil's Tower in a HUGE carousel with lotsa pretty lights.
To deny him what is rightly his is shameful at least and may even border on criminal. Down
through history artists have always screwed out of what was rightly theirs. A damn shame.
Shame on you Mr. Rupert Murdoch

Comments: Dear Mr Giger, falsificating and copying artwork is obviously a feature
of nowadays. Anyway, whenever confronted with ALIEN design work, it reminds me of its very
creator - H R Giger. This design is really unique and in its way sophisticated, nobody can
ever redesign it another way, claiming it to be HIS very ideas. Yet I did not experience
the mentioned, last ALIEN movie. Surely would I expect Your name exposed among the most
important creators. FOX shall not need to "forget" You, cause their success
relies on Your power of imagination. This power may resurrect every day in Your life! kind

Comments: If I was a great painter and got my work on the movie screen I would only
be happy and proud... I don´t understand why H.R. Giger is "upset" over this.
Everybody who have seen Alien to Alien 4 knows that the art displayed on the movie screen
is made by the one and only H.R. Giger. And again I would be proud to have my art as movie
content... Today I have about 234 digitalized pictures of his art and I treasure those
pictur- es as they were gold. (I´ve got two backups on zip-disk and SyQuest!)

Comments: It was a pleasure to stop by at H.R. Giger sites.... I admire Mr. Giger's
talent and imagination, I wish him the very best, his artwork will live forever! H.R.
Giger has created so many such a great visual effects, that it's referred to an industrial
standard, which everyone wants to copy or borrow (usually with quite miserable results) We
all know who made it first. F**k the rest...

Comments: MOST RESPECTED MR. H.R.GIGER, do not waste your time with complete idiots
with no talent that only care to exploit as many people as they can. Your name does not
have to appear anywhere on the movie for the whole world to recognize your genius, skill,
and ability all over the film. Nobody can deny it, you are the greatest contemporary
artistor the latter twenieth century. It was you, and Dali who changed the face of art and
fantasy forever.

Comments: Fox needs to live in reality for once. There is no way any of the alien
sequels could happen without HRGiger's initial work. Regardless of his involvement in the
sequels had it not been for his design there could be none. So why doesn't Fox grow up,
admit they were wrong and give Giger the credit he rightfully deserves. As well as an
oscar for the alien3 fiasco. With more sequels bound to come Fox better wisen up before
their image sinks further into the sludge they crawled out of.

Comments: The Giger influence, style and pure creativity has more of an affect on
the world of art than anyone could comprehend. The vision and depth is something that was
bred from the soul. 20th Century Fox had none of this, until it was bought. Then it was
stolen. The people know the truth and that shall be Fox's downfall.

Comments: #1.Alien-Greatest sci-fi horror movie ever created thanks to H.R. Giger
and Ridley Scott. #2.Aliens-Greatest sequel ever created thanks to H.R.Giger and James
Cameron. #3.Alien 3-This is now a decent movie after watching Alien 4. Otherwise it was
horrible and a waste of my money. #4.Alien Resurrection-I was sick to my stomach when I
saw this movie. This movie may have prevented further sequels. What was 20th Century Fox
thinking? This was the 1st time aliens were computer generated and they were so fake
looking in CGI. They should have used the team that created the insects in Starship
Troopers. #5.Alien 5-This will never happen because of Alien 3 and Alien 4....too bad. I
mention Giger in Aliens only because if it wasn't for H.R. Giger. James Cameron would not
have come up with his ideas. (example: the Queen). Bottom line: Giger and his artwork are
fantastic. I own every one of his art books.

Comments: I just want Mr. Giger to know that there are many of us here whom regard
Mr. Giger's work as brilliant and astounding in every sense. THERE IS NO 'ALIEN' WITHOUT
GIGER !!! In today's corporate game, those in Twentieth Century Fox (TCF) are nothing but
a bunch of ungrateful bastards! We pray that one day, a Giant Consortium would come along
and acquire TCF and made those responsible for this bullshit,FIRED and replaced with more
sensible and grateful people who believe in genius like Mr. Giger. They made tons of money
with Mr. Giger's design.....and they forgot why 'ALIEN' is a success ???...What a bunch of
morons..WE WENT TO SEE 'ALIEN', 'ALIENS', 'ALIEN 3'and 'ALIEN RESSURRECTION' simply
because of the the design of the creature... without Mr.Giger, where would they get to
where they are today ?. 'TCF' stands for 'Today's Corporate Fuckers'!!!
