I would like to pose a question for Mr. Giger, as it was described by Harlan Ellison.
What dreams do Nightmares dream? Your art, Mr. Giger, has certainly been the most
influential upon me, along with another great artist, John Bergin (I highly recommend
checking out his art). Both of you have inspired me and are leading me along my path of
becoming an artist. So, Mr. Giger, show me the way and light the path within my nightmares
and my art. Traveling into the next millenium, the nightmares never cease, they just
change form. Thank you for all you have given me and the world.

well, Mr. Giger, i would like to believe that you will actually read this, but i guess
you might. it's goo to see that someone can find a way to make a living at doing what they
"like"? if you are really into scaring small communities (and i'll bet you
are!), you should talk to the University here and ask for some time in the little art
"museum" here. i really don't know too much about your stuff, but some of it i
can really do without. like your landscapes and all

Dear HR, You are a genius. Your art has mentally inspired me in all aspects. Please
send me one of your originals...or at least a signed lithograph! You are an artistic
genius. I am a 19 year old college student. I don't have money, but I REALLY WOULD
APPRECIATE AN AIRBRUSH. I know this is a pitiful attempt, but you can spare just one. I
purchased your three Necronomicons...that is investment in itself. Please sir; you can
even cum on a piece of paper and send that if it pleases you. I am a poor, desperate fan

Hi Hans. (Is it Hans?) I really like your artwork. On certain drugs, when I look at
natural formations (roots, clouds, rocks all the interesting stuff) I see it as one of
your pictures. While most of your stuff seems to be anatomically inclined I can't help but
think that you have noticed the common and somewhat evil (?) designs that exist in
non-organic formations. Whatever, the human anatomy is as much a part of nature as
anything. I just want you to know that having been exposed to your work has probably made
it easier for me to percieve these patterns where normally I would just see something
quite mundane. Keep bringing nature and technology together, it is a bizarre fusion that
bears very entertaining results. Also, if you ever get to see Australia go to the royal
national park in Sydney and check out Upper falls, a part of National Falls. This area
loks like it was designed by you. If possible I will actually send some scanned images to
your webpage. You won't see 'em probably, but by God I'll feel better. Bye

I have been a fan of your work for many years now, and being an artist myself I have
often found myself inspired by your work. I am more of a writer and computer graphics
artist than anything, but I also build reliatic scale models. I think I have built every
model from the Aliens trilogy, and am wondering if you would ever consider turning any of
your sculptures or furniture into scale models. This would give us starving artists the
chance to enjoy even more of your fabulous work. Thanx for your time and keep up the great

Dear Mr. Giger, Just a word to tell you how breathtaking your art is. You are a prophet
of our inner-selves, as you release the ugliness (beauty?) that slumbers deep within our
subconsious, and turn it into a reality. The flesh is either naked or thorned, a delight
for the Elite of this world, and serves as a primal indulgence for us to admire as it is
for you to create. If humankind in itself is a Temple, you have created it's Altar. I find
your work extremely deep & inspiring, and I give you credit for influencing me to
study in Art History. You are truly a Bosch for this age of Fire, and you deserve much
more recongnition. You draw the landscapes of the future. I wish you well in all, may your
genius shine forth from the Darkness until time exists no more & beyond. Rege Satanas!
Hail Satan!

I've recently been exposed to the incredible art of Mr. Giger and quite frankly, I'm
stunned. I find his work dark, erotic, and overwhelmingly intense to a point where I find
myself relating my dark nature to the images of the art for an incredible length of time.

I can only imagine a man whose mind can produce such stunning work. Is
"brilliant" a fitting word to use? Giger is probably one of the most influencial
artists today. His works are grotesque, horrifying, yet incredibly mysterious as well.
Mystery is often transformed into the sublime and the beautiful and his works have these
strange attributes. His work has had a profound impact on me and my own art. I only hope
to see some of his original works and to see genius in the paint.

I really love the "gigeresque" art and I also like the computer games that
have recently started coming out. Apart from that I like browsing the Internet and
computers so this website is also amazing, since now I can combine computers and
Giger-art. My only regret is that it is completely impossible to get hold of the Giger
screensaver in Sweden, no single shop will import it. Is there any way to get it from
Europe or USA ? Best regards Mikael

I would like to compliment the creators of this site. I recall the first time I was
exposed to Giger's work when I was about 12 years old, and his work has been quite
influential to my own drawing and painting style ever since. His style and subject matter
is not always appreciated by so-called "serious art critics" and I applaud your
exposure of his wonderful skill and "magic." I am an art student in New York and
it is depressing to discover that many of my classmates have never even heard of H.R.
Giger. He is truly one of the greatest painters not only of recent times, but in the
entire context of art history. Thank you once again for creating such a fine, dedicated
internet site. I look forward to future advancements.

I have been a fan of HR Gigers for a while and his influence on my friends and me has
been pretty big. I hope to have to achieve something of his creative stature in whatever
field I chose to pursue, most likely something in business where I will be allowed to be
creative and original. I can relate to many of Giger's works since I haeva very dark side
and a very open mind, atleast I like to think so. Giger should be allowed to design the
plans for Gotham City n an upcoming Batman movie, but that is highly unlikely since after
the first one, the mood has been getting very light and the ambience has recuced as well.
The darkness of the Batman has been lost and I think that HR Giger could help to replace
the lost darkness. I wish him the best of luck in any future endeavors and I hope he
continues to excel. A little about myself: I was born and raised in Saudi Arabia from
Indian descent. I went to an American school in Saudi till the ninth then I came to the
states to attend high school at a private boarding school in Connecticut. I am currently a
sophomore(second year) at the University of Mississippi. Wish I had stayed on the east
coast. anyway, thanks for reading my shit, and hope to get soemresponse.LAter.Peace.-Tariq

you have managed to achieve the recognition, respect, and fame that your artwork deserves.
The global penetration of your name and artwork will undoubtedly excel you into a higher
dimension of reality where only the truly talented and gifted belong. Your talent,

Sir, I must confess that I have never had a nightmare. The world around me is many
times too horrid in reality for me to even concieve of horror in my rare moments of
peaceful sleep. I fully believe that what is captured on the canvass of Giger's work is a
reflection of the horror in every day life. It has been said that art is merely a looking
glass to the human soul. Giger's work emphasizes this as a poignant truth. The true
monsters in this world are spawned from the depths of HUMAN evil. I think this is the
reason Giger's art appeals to so many. It is an expression of the potential for evil
within our- selves. His work if the epitome of Gothic eroticism. Through the exploration
of this potential for evil we can purge ourselves of its detrimental influence. I must
thank you Mr. Giger for giving us a vessel with which to explore our inner darkness.

It's hard to believe there exist people who don't know of the art of Giger---the images
are beauti- ful unions of the soulless and the dark creatures which shy from light,
rejected by God. There is more than art in those works; rather a fullness of being as the
parts of us that live in shadows rise to the surface of the canvas where we may gaze on
them for the first time...

I want to know the prices for other pieces of genuine Giger art and the ones you have
aren't the ones I'm interested in. Can you fill me in to some of the more interesting
pieces and perhaps give me a sight where I can get the picture of the piece because the
ones you have on this page are the ones that are pretty boring compared to the ones I have
seen here before. The ones I have seen on the OMNI page dealing with his(Giger's) artwork
are much more interesting and look more worthwhile in buying than the ones pictured here.
Sorry, but I had to give you guys some advice, and I hope you reply and Giger doesn't get
peeved off at what you have put here. I just want a listing of some of the more original
and more recognizable pictures and don't want anything more. If you can make me happy,
I'll be much abliged, thanks for taking the time if you do ge this one. Azathoth

Mr. Giger...I'm just your average guy (who after seeing Alien at age 9 didn't sleep at

stuff youve done. I may not be as cultured as other people who correspond with you, but I

here in the hinterlands of Canada there a person whom youve affected greatly. As a
sidenote, id like you to know that i got a good friend of mine to airbrush my mountain
bike frame with "gigerish" art, it looks great, and i find it helping me to
conquer fear. Everytime im riding and i look down at the tubes and I remember how scared I
was as a kid, i get bold, thinking i have conquered it. After I just about kill myself
crashing, I remember that fear is a good thing. Anyways, enough rambling. Keep up the
work! And know that you affect me each and every day. Derek.

I have always loved Giger's work. Ever since I saw Alien for the first time when I was
seven. He has the most remarkable ability to create worlds that many people have never
seen. A fewer lot have lived in his world, but only in their greatest dreams and worst
nightmares. H.R. Giger brings these dark fantasies and dark realities out into the light.
It is a look into our own souls and minds. Thank you, Mr. Giger. Without your art, the

This artwork is truly inspirational for my writing. I find Giger's artwork totally
unique and and wonderful. He really finds what's deep in one's soul, and he brings it out
in the most outstanding way possible. No amount of words can describe the feeling one gets
by looking at such art.

I thank you Giger. I thank time for letting me in at this point to regard all that is
around me. I thank the imagination for causing curiousity and uniqueness. Although I'm
young and at this point unnoticable I plan to make an impact into this world. Your
thoughts on paper are but a stepping stone to my future and I hope you will continue to
see the world in your own light. Till the next amusement park trip. Thank you.

Keep on revealing our dark side. Your work shows that "normality" is just a
freud. And all the politically correct may fuck up and die. In my humble opinion. Let the
people express themselves.

Great webpage, and a wonderful exercise in the commercial side of art. To Giger: Your
work is of the most thought provoking, and horrifying kind, your technique is impeccable
and your presence in the international art community is indispensable, I look forward to
any of your work still to come. As a student of Art, I can only look up to you, and seek
enjoyment and inspiration from your work, thank you for being such a great role model to
many young artists, and art enthusiasts.
